25 March 2003, Guns
N' Roses have issued a 'cease and desist' notice to The Offspring over
the title of the Orange County punker's forthcoming studio album.
GUNS N ROSES frontman W. Axl Rose, real name William Bailey (no relation to ex-Iron Maiden / Wolfsbane singer Blaze Bayley), wasn't too pleased when the Offspring wanted to call the follow up to 2000's 'Conspiracy Of One' album 'Chinese Democrazy (You Snooze, You Lose)'.
"The Offspring thought that the name would be funny, considering the new Guns n' Roses album, titled 'Chinese Democracy', has been in the works now for about 8 years, and still does not have a release date," reports Punk News.org.
