fans have memorised and written what they heard. This article may be modified

He said not to blame him for

How did you hear
about this?
So far, we have only heard this via a few concert reviews. We will have a better
understanding of what has been said once we listen and analyse the bootleg. I
sincerely hope Axl didn't really say this, or that he meant something else when
he said it. If so, this would be an insult to the European fans.
Note: Please keep in mind for now that there is a possibility, I repeat a
possibility that he might have meant something else. Now lets go on with some
facts:
Let's recap the whole situation:
October 30th 2000:
Big FD Entertainment (Guns N' Roses Management) issues a statement saying that
there will be a new tour next summer (summer 2001). Consult the full MTV article

Arround December 13th 2000: Tickets to the Arnhem,
Holland (at the Gelredome) tickets go on sale.
February 2nd 2001: Big FD entertainment issues a
statement confirming 6 European tour dates. Tickets that are not already onsale

March 6th 2001: News reports are in that other
concerts have been added (U.K., Spain, Italy, Swedes, Denmark,etc). Tickets for

May 10th 2001: The entire European tour is reported
cancelled because of Buckethead's illness. Consult the full Billboard article

If GNRFAN X is right:
If your management company promotes a and sells tickets to venues
for your band and your name is all over MTV and VH1 that you are going to tour,
how can you not have any idea you're going to tour?
If GNRFAN Y is right:
How Axl could not have any idea he was going to tour Europe even though
his management company had booked venues, sold tickets and his name was all over
MTV, VH1 and the rest?
